SLSL Football Tournament

A busy week for sports - a South London Special League football tournament took place the day after the LYG swim Gala!

The girls' team won Silver, beating schools from across the region! Everyone played really well, but special mention to Jodie in defence and Millie for her 4 goals!

Our Provision teams also played, with the under 19s A team coming second overall and the under 14s team bringing home the 'Best Teamwork' trophy!  The under 19s B team played well but didn't place in the medals. However, they showed great sportsmanship when they put aside their disappointment to celebrate their team mates' success. Well done. 

Finally, both Oliver and Matas were clapped off the pitch by their teams as they entered 'retirement'!
